Description

S-130 is the most popular Western military transport aircraft. It has been in mass production longer than any other aircraft in history and is the backbone of the military transport aviation of the United States, NATO states and other countries. The most massive modification was the C-130H modification, the first flight of a prototype of which took place in 1964, and mass production began in 1965. The aircraft received a new reinforced wing box, improved brakes, new avionics and a power plant with four T56-A- engines. 15. To date, more than 2,300 machines of various modifications have been manufactured.
